“My daughter just turned one, which is a nostalgic milestone in itself. I really wanted to capture her personality and every little detail about her at this precious age! It’s hard to believe that my little baby is growing so fast!
Brynlee loves singing songs, playing outside, any and every dog, and pizza! She also loves to cheer on her older siblings at softball, soccer, and hockey. Strangely, she also loves to watch football! (As a family we like to take walks, play at the park, and go swimming!)
Brynlee just started walking and is oh so proud of herself!
For my little one, the most important thing I needed for this photography session was my singing voice! She loves music and we did quite a bit of singing to get her attention during the photo shoot…Thank you Marina for joining right in with our songs…I can’t believe how much fun Brynlee had with you during our shoot!
In past photo sessions with other photographers, I was always trying to plan every little detail myself…the outfit, the pose, the props, even the lighting because I wanted that perfect shot. But let’s face it…I am not a photographer. I finally realized that I wanted someone with expertise and artistry that I could trust. It was wonderful to be able to express what I wanted to get out of the session, and then just hand it over to you. Your talent and attention to detail were outstanding!
The final images really do speak for themselves.
Your knowledge of lighting really shows in the final pictures. I also loved your suggestions on outfit and accessory choices…they were perfect for the look we were going for and I very much appreciated that you were then able to find locations and use props that matched that same “feel”.
The pictures are truly amazing! You captured her personality perfectly and were even able to get all of her different expressions that I know and love! I appreciated the assortment of poses and background settings too. The attention to detail is evident…I never had to worry about getting the perfect smile only to see that the prop had fallen over! I will truly treasure these pictures! I can’t help but look at them over and over again!”
Brynlee was such a joy to photograph! Meet Kingsley & the family! Kingsley is a handsome, active, full of smiles and happy faces little boy! He has got a beautiful, loving, supporting mommy and fun and funny handsome dad! Loved so much about this session! Loved the colours, loved the attitude, loved kids expressions and parents’ patience, absence of perfectionism required and peaceful chaos in the room… Felt like real life with all its challenges and process with rewarding completion at the end of the photo session; just as at the end of the day when your head touches the pillow and you feel pleasantly exhausted 🙂 Loved it all!
Aaliyah’s family, like many others, had become close friends by now… I had met these new parents back when Aaliyah’s big brother was just a newly born 🙂 Little did they know, I became their “family photographer” and am proud to call myself their friend!
I enjoyed this photo session just as much as they all did and loved the results! But let Aaliyah’s mommy share about it… “This was our 5th photo session with Marina and my favorite one so far! Even though the afternoon had started off with a heavy rain and postponed our session, the day turned into a gorgeous sunny day. Our baby Aaliyah was thrilled to be outdoors and Marina captured her beautifully. I was thrilled with the way our photos turned out and how we all had a fun time together. Aaliyah had some really great photos with her older brother Aaron that I know we will all cherish as a family heirloom. She loves interacting with her older brother and we are discovering what a tough little girl she is. She can take a tumble and get right back up trying to keep up with her brother. She seems to be a fearless baby who doesn’t back down if she wants something. There is a tenacity in her that is already apparent. We are so proud of our baby girl and can’t wait to see what her interests will be in the future. All I know is that she has two loving parents, a supportive older brother, and some really great portraits that have captured a special moment in time and that truly reflect the love in our family.”
Oh sweet Hazel… You are too cute for these simple baby portraits! Hazel is also “silly, easy-going and adventurous” as her family describes Hazel… and I have to agree! I watch Hazel growing up at these photography sessions, but she still has those striking blue eyes. I can’t wait to see her grow into a little lady very soon. …But let’s not rush anything for now 🙂
