Welcome TJ! Handsome little guy who made my time with him to be such a pleasure. He slept the whole time and made cute sounds in his sleep… A dream to photograph!
Welcome Maddox and Makenzie! I must say I loved spending time with these two cuties 🙂 It was simply a pleasure to photograph these twins! Sleepy and happy the entire time… which resulted in some beautiful portraits that this family will treasure and enjoy forever.
Welcome Dana! Gorgeous 7 days old baby girl who was born to very creative parents 🙂 What is the better way to share with all of you about their session than their own words…: “We wanted to have pictures of Dana when she was just a newborn. We were looking for pictures that were really adorable and cute that would help us remember how small she was at that age.
We chose Marina because looking at her images we noticed and liked how she focused on every little detail and made the child look amazing while the baby was asleep. Plus, we loved her props and how unique they were.
I greatly appreciate how much Marina focuses on what the parents want. During the preparation process she listened to my needs and appreciated my creativity.
Marina was extremely patient and understanding throughout the whole photo session. The session went smoothly even though Dana woke up many times throughout the session. Marina was extremely patient during those moments when I was putting Dana to sleep, and she made sure she was ready for the next set. She made everyone feel comfortable and provided everything for the baby and us, parents. She was easy to work with and was very organized and detail-oriented. I’m glad her idea of perfection is the same as mine.
The session was very creative and reflected on my passion for the piano and my husband’s passion for his alma mater.I am very passionate about classical music. My life and world revolve around the piano and I wanted to showcase that in the photo shoot. My husband is passionate about Texas University. He loves burnt orange… go longhorns!
So I chose to use a toy piano for Dana because I am a pianist and wanted to showcase how small she was 7 days after she was born. She fit right on top of a grand toy piano. I chose to put her in a tutu with a headband to show the simplicity of a newborn baby.
Dana’s father decided to bring his Texas Longhorn helmet and flag to represent his school and his love for UT.
The other props and clothes (that Marina provided) we decided to use to expose the girly-ness and beauty of our baby girl. We wanted to bring out the beauty of a newborn and show off how small she was by putting her in a hammock, on top of a piano, and in a bucket.
We wanted the images to portray Dana’s beauty, her flexibility, how small she was at that time… Making her look like a cute baby girl was very important to us!”
